Being held by nature is something I cherish, a feeling that I never take for granted. Like a good pair of arms nature too has a slightly different embrace depending upon where and when you meet it. The river makes me feel alive, the moors blow me open and the sea takes me deeper. There is one embrace though that is always welcome and that's the arms of a golden dusk, she is comforting, a pleasant relief from the hot humid day. With cow parsley that glows, igniting the light of a diamond encrusted spider. Her sound is that of the blackbirds lullaby that follows me home. I let myself go into the golden and imagine my summer threads weaving with hers out across the land until the days change and inevitably her embrace will too.
